What it does

Document verification detects, classifies and reads identity documents, then checks them for fraud. It is the first step of a KYC session and runs in every verification.

Recognition

Printed and handwritten text is read from the document.
The MRZ is read with its checksum.
Signatures and stamps are checked.
Coverage: 10,000+ document types, 195+ countries and territories.

Anti-fraud

The anti-fraud module runs 20+ checks. It catches screen photos, photocopies, printouts, glued photos, drawn-on elements, erasures, edited images and logical data errors, and it is included in every package.

What does the anti-fraud check catch?

What image formats are accepted?

JPEG or PNG. Each step includes up to 6 free photo attempts.

Can users add a second document?

Yes. A utility bill, bank statement or lease can be added as an extra document in the same session, at $0.13 each.
