Liveness
A movement challenge that helps detect presentation attacks such as a photo, a screen or a mask.
What it does
Active liveness asks the user to move the face closer through two ovals. The movement is a challenge that helps detect presentation attacks such as a photo, a screen or a mask. It runs after the selfie in a KYC session.
How it works in the flow
- The user opens the liveness step in the widget.
- Two ovals appear on screen, and the user moves the face through them.
- Deepfake and face-swap detection runs inside the selfie and liveness steps.
- The result is added to the session.
What your system receives
A liveness entry in the session results, with the status of the step.
