Proof of address

Add a utility bill, bank statement or lease to the same session.

What it does

Some services need to know where a person lives, in addition to who they are. Proof of address adds a second document to the verification session. The user shows an identity document first and then a document that carries an address: a utility bill, a bank statement or a lease.

How it works in the flow

  1. The user completes the identity steps, starting with the document. See document verification.
  2. The scenario then asks for the extra document.
  3. The user photographs the utility bill, bank statement or lease in the same widget.
  4. The extra document is added to the same session.

What your system receives

One session, with the results of the identity steps and the extra document together. You do not need to match two sessions yourself. See session statuses.

Price

An extra document is $0.13, added to the price of the verification. The pricing page lists the packages and the volume rates.

Set it up

The documents asked for are set in the scenario editor. For the user journey around it, read proof of address collection.
